J’ai rencontré Axel sur la plage. Il est étudiant à Aix en Provence. Il passe ses vacances en famille. Il m’explique que sa mère est prof d’arts appliqués et qu’elle enseigne à Tahiti. Son père instit à la retraite reste à Aix pour s’occuper d’eux. Ils se rejoignent l’été pour passer leurs vacances ensemble. C’est une situation peu banale mais qui à l’air de fonctionner pour eux.

I met Axel on the beach. He studies in Aix en Provence and spends his holydays with the family here in Indonesia. His mother is a teacher in an art school in Tahiti and his father, now retired, stays in Aix to look after them. They just spend the summer together. Not a « normal situation » but it seems to go well for them.
